Why do They Always Take Too Much Off the Top?

No matter how much you say to the barber, “Not too much off the top.” They always take too much off the top.

Listen to the audible version of this post: God in Sixty Seconds

The last time a barber took too much off the top, I was so annoyed that I tweeted about it.

My tweet got heaps of likes and re-tweets. It was my best performing tweet.

It touched a nerve. Heaps of people must’ve had exactly the same experience. They too felt my pain.

That’s what I love about Jesus.

Jesus was the Son of God. But he became one of us. So he could have exactly the same experiences that we have as humans.

Sure he died on a cross in our place.

But he also knows what it’s like to be us. He feels our pain.

Right down to a bad haircut.

Sadly Jesus can’t fix our haircut. But with Jesus there’ll be eternity in heaven for our bad haircut to grow out.
