Espresso Theology is a blog by Sam Chan.
It gives you a short, quick buzz of theology by introducing your world to Jesus in 60 seconds.
This site also contains links to other talks, videos and books by Sam.
Sam is a theologian, preacher, author, evangelist, ethicist, cultural analyst and medical doctor.
Sam was born in Hong Kong, grew up and lives in Australia, studied medicine at the University of Sydney, and did his PhD in Theology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS), Chicago, USA. His PhD was supervised by Graham Cole.
His book Evangelism in a Skeptical World applies the latest in storytelling and missiology to equip Christians to tell the unbelievable news about Jesus to friends in a skeptical world. And his book Preaching as the Word of God applies speech-act theory to preaching.
Sam is a public speaker for City Bible Forum. He speaks to high-schoolers and professionals, to seminary students and academics. His topics are evangelism, ethics, preaching, story-telling, and apologetics.
Sam is hopeless at taking out the garbage, boiling an egg, rugby, dancing and karaoke - but he does know all the words to Billy Joel's Piano Man (or maybe just the chorus).
